Task Responsibilities:
- Develop and measure standard metrics, incl. inputs and outputs of oprational business processes, identify opportunities of improvement, develop a plan for implementing improvements and monitoring new processes to ensure it works as intended.
- Work with front-line staff, following up on implementing reviewed and/or new procedures resulting from e.g. CAPA initiatives.
- Help fostering a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation, where required.
- Ensure compliance with the various industry standards and procedures e.g. Cargo iQ, e-freight, air cargo messages.
- Establish and maintain Risk Assessment Register e.g. Cargo iQ
- Analyze trends networkwide.
- Establish a system to ensure lessons are learned from incidents and findings and translate this learning into improved performance, supported by continuous assessment of outcome.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of procedures, training programs.
- Promote best practices.
- Administer iCargo Operations web portal e.g. new customers, respond to an extensive variety of questions from customers.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- Min 1-3 years proven continuous improvement analytical experience in a similar role incl. project management and business analysis.
- Understanding of continuous improvement concepts like Six Sigma, Lean is an advantage.
- Ability to set up and facilitate service improvement sessions with relevant stakeholders.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, incl. Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in designing or implementing a framework for continuous improvement in a multi-cultural organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of partners, senior managers, and subject matter experts.
- Strong analytical, project and product management skills, incl. a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
- Experience in the entire project lifecycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage, in the depths of system testing, and at each stage between.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; other languages are a distinct advantage.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, permanent position based in Luxembourg.
- Occasional travel required.
- A certificate of good conduct (casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
