Task Responsibilities:
- Maintain safety of the Cargolux fleet of aircraft.
- Maintain the required level of dispatch reliability of aircraft.
- Design and certification of repairs and modifications
- Maintain cost effectiveness in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft structures and components.
- Support maintenance and production activities, such as inspections and modifications of Cargolux and customer aircraft.
- Evaluate Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
- Provide engineering services to other departments.
- Maintain proficiency in aircraft structures and regulatory requirements.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- Masters degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering.
- Experience in an aeronautical environment would be considered as an advantage.
- Strong IT background with proficiency in computer programming and 3D CAD/CAM applications.
- Good communication skills with a consultative approach and proactive attitude.
- Responsive and supportive in decision-making.
- Flexible with working hours and willing to travel and occasionally work in other locations.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, other languages will be an advantage.
Working Conditions:
- Full time position based in Luxembourg on a temporary, fixed-term contract of 24 months
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
